The residential community development is located approximately 18 kilometers from Cebu city. Phase 2 of the project launched in June 2006 with 6.7 additional hectares of land. This means 86 more lots became available with an average of 429 square meters per lot. Each lot in Phase 2 averaged PhP 10,956 per square meter. The Phase 3A of this residential development project launched in October 2007 with 7.6 hectares added to the community. At an average of 491 square meters per lot, the cost is PhP 9,980 per square meter.

The North 1 and North 2 expansions were incorporated in October 2008 and October 2009, respectively. There were 108 additional lots that became available with North 1 lots averaging at 482 square meters and North 2 lots averaging at 511 square meters. The average price per square meters for North 1 lots is PhP 16,598 and the North 2 lots averaged at PhP 13,503 per square meter. Finally, the Parks is the latest update to the development project. This added 6 more hectares of land to the community with 53 new lots at 463 square meters per lot on average. The cost per square meter of lots in The Parks is PhP 16,847.

Amara has a total developed area of 38.5 hectares and nearly 22 hectares of this comprise the saleable areas. There are more than 16 hectares of common areas. In addition, 43% of the development is dedicated for roads, amenity buildings, parks and open spaces. The Parks phase is the most generous of the entire development as half of the entire property is dedicated for green and open spaces.
